6. Employee Profile Overview

If you want to go into an individual employee’s profile, click on the link or the employee’s name in the employee section.  This will then bring you to the employee profile. We will now explore the Personal, Work and Payroll tabs in detail. 

The first tab here is the Personal Tab, and here you’ll find at least a first name, a last name, and an email address that needs to be collected. 

You may have other fields to complete, such as address or phone number, depending on your account settings.

Any field with a red asterix is required to be completed in order to create an employee profile, and may be different depending on your account settings. 

The next tab to look at is the Work tab. This tab shows how an employee is organised within the Bizimply system, with the information you need for them to clock in and be scheduled effectively.

First is the employee’s Timestation PIN, which they use to clock in and out.  You can edit it, but we recommend keeping it to the one automatically generated by the system.

Next, is access to the Web Portal. Your employees should be allowed access to the Web Portal as this is how they get access to Bizimply to use the MyZimply app to view their schedule and log Time Off.   If you don’t want them to ever be able to log in to Bizimply,  you should change this to “no access”, but that is not recommended.

The Main Location of an employee is where they do the majority of their work, and where their manager is located. Their full profile is visible at this location, and their Time Off is allocated to this location. 

If you’re employee works at another location, and needs to be scheduled and clock-in there, you can add that location as a “Shared Location” by selecting and adding it into this field.

Next, the “Name on Schedule” field is the employee’s name as it appears on the rota or schedule as it’s built.  You can edit this to be a different name to their given name if needed. 

The “Schedules” field is how you allocate your employees to the different schedules or rotas in your account.  Currently this employee Jeremy is only on the Back of House Schedule. 

This is what this looks like in our Schedule section when we’re on the Back of House Schedule.

If we then look at the Front Of house schedule, Jeremy is not there. 

So in order to add Jeremy to the Front of House schedule, we need to select and then add it in the Schedules field, and then click ‘Save’.
